It’s an interesting view. Begs so many questions. So this is an upgrade? Have they updated their manufacturing of these motors with these seals going forward? Would the motors on our bikes already have these extra seals? Why didn’t the original motors have proper sealing from the get go? Did they not test in wet conditions and realize water was penetrating? Well I won’t be fording any streams or creeks anytime soon.

I would say just avoid puddles jumping and sand lots and keep your bike clean - we can seal the cracks as well

Avoiding puddles, jumping and sand lots, heck that takes all of the fun out of riding.

Avoid water and dust. Right. I live in California.That means wet all winter and dry and dusty all summer. There is no avoiding either. I will just ride it until it fails.
