OK, so today I dug into the Brose settings, mostly to fix the clock. Now I understand more.

The factory settings are:

Eco: 15%
Tour: 25%
Sport: 50%
Boost: 100%

This is why I wasn't using Eco, it was not adding much of anything.

So I reconfigured it to:
Eco: 25%
Tour: 50%
Sport: 75%
Boost: 100%

I am now riding on all power levels. Eco on flat ground for more exercise.
Tour is my new default setting, and I just leave it there when I don't want to think about the power settings and just ride.

I like Sport at 75% for short bursts and Boost on the big hills.

I changed my settings to reflect your settings and I totally love it now. Mostly riding tour mode now.
I hadn’t realized that sport was only 50% power that’s why when I’d go into boost mode it really felt powerful. I started calling it beast mode. Good work Frank. 🤜

Hold down the left button on the front of the Brose Allround LCD color display. It’ll bring up a menu with trip information, reset and settings. Reset resets the trip info. Select the settings and explore the options you can change.
If you have a Mosh I’m not sure how you would change the settings since you don’t have a screen, maybe contact support on that.

How did you reconfigure it? Is there a Brose app? I cannot seem to find one. Or is it though the controller on the bike? If so, I cannot do this as I have a Mosh.
I sendt a request how to adjust the power setting to Serial1 support and got this answer.

"This can be reconfigured, but only using the Brose service tool through a bike shop which has the tool, available to them"

I would like to know how you get to this setting, please. Can you outline the steps? Thanks

See my post earlier in this thread it’s post #7, it outlines how to get into the settings menu, once there select system, then custom assistance, then adjust each of the ride modes (eco, tour, sport, boost) to your liking, of course you’ll most likely leave boost at 100%. Once done hit back until you are out of the settings menu.

Frank, You Da Man. Thank you for this tip. I changed the settings to the ones you used and it is a WAY BETTER experience.

Welcome to the forum @Randall Sutherland! How long have you had your Serial 1 for?
I've had the Serial 1 bike for two weeks. I'm happy to have it. This is my fourth ebike. The previous three were Sondors ebikes. I bought the Serial 1 because I wanted the internal geared hub and belt drive. I got tired of maintaining chains and adjusting derailleurs on the Sondors bikes.

Today, I changed the settings to 20%-40%-60%-100%. Cadence still at 60, in comfort mode. I previously had it set to 25-50-75-100, but felt like it was too much too soon. I was easily reaching top speed (20mph) in Sport, and sometimes even in Tour, on flat ground. So I dialed it back a bit, and I like the changes. In Eco, it offers a bit of a workout. YMMV.
