So I wondered why I had trouble reading my Brose, and I guessed it was my sunglasses. Nope, it is the brightness setting. I set it to "Automatic" and bang! I can now see it in daylight.
Also, change the setting to add percentage of battery used. It will appear in the top left of the screen.
Also, you can set the light to Automatic as well, or just leave it on all the time, which is safer.
