Thanks for offering your expertise! I'm wondering if you are familiar with any method to officially reflash a Brose motor with a different speed limit? I'm in the USA and my state recently "banned" Class 3 eBikes. Of course, I bought the Speed variant just a month before - yay! Just wondering my options cause it sucks that out of the blue, my completely timid 250w eBike suddenly became "illegal". If I can reflash it as 20MPH limit (instead of 28MPH), then it will become Class 1 and perfectly legal.

Thank you for offering your services. Do you happen to know what brand wheels and hubs are used on the mosh models? I would like to eventually pick up a spare set that I can mount a different ratio sprocket on and different tires to be able to swap out depending on the ride.

Merci Mr. Poop to care about us. I recently bought 2 Rush City. I can not regulate the enviolo hub in the automated mode. It is ok with the manual mode even if I dont know what it means. There are no dealer in Quebec who have the answer. Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hey Luluna, hope you´re doing well.

If by reflashing you mean reprogramming your motor, that can only be performed by the bicycle brand (in the case of a Serial 1 bicycle can only be done by Serial 1), not even bicycle shops or dealers (this applies to Bosch, Bafang, Shimano, etc). If your local dealer is aware of the new regulations they should be able to have direct contact with the brand and they, without any issues, can install a new "Container" with the speed limit and parameters to accommodate to the new rules in your state.

Hey Zepherance, hope you´re doing well!

So these are OEM parts, and they come straight from the factory with the exception of the ones with Enviolo Hub. Let´s say for this matter that they are unbranded.
What I can certainly do for you, and please give me a few days and i will reach back to you with measurements for the front and rear hubs, width, thru-axle diameter in case you want to replace the full wheels.

On the other side, the Mosh rear wheel sprocket is removable, this is mounted on a regular freehub and they use 2 spacers to properly align the sprocket with the chain ring. You just have to use the right tools to change it. You will need a Belt Strap Tool and a Cassette Removal Tool, and definitely, you can try different sprocket sizes. Be mindful that messing around with the sprocket and chain ring size might require the use of a different belt length and I recommend you to use a Bicycle Belt Calculator.

By any means am I suggesting you to buy the same tools that I´ve just linked, it is just so you have a better reference.

Hope I´ve solved some of your doubts and I will try to come back to you as soon as possible with the measurements in case you wanna go crazy with different wheel sizes.

Let´s make a deal, I´ll do my best to test some things tomorrow at the workshop with the Automatic and Manual modes and I will come back to you with my findings. Usually, we get a QR code with the Serial 1 predetermined configurations, we scan it (if necessary) we update the system, calibrate it, set the desired initial / final cadence along with the client, and off it goes.

I know there are some things in the Enviolo app that are completely useless (I spoke to Enviolo one time and they confessed).

Hi I have a Rush city bike and I can't seem to detach battery from carriage. Turn the key so far but am afraid it will break. First couple times worked fine but no more.
The locks keyhole seems out of alignment at times as key doesn't go in smoothly and/or get stuck in lock. Any ideas??

How can i remove the limiter on my mosh/city e bike? I want to go faster than just 20
