Is there a possibility of getting an adjustable handle bar stem extension . Is the manufacturer planning to offer us one ? I have a City Speed and a City Step Thru for a week now that both need the modification . Otherwise we love the bikes .

I’m surprised they didn’t include one on the bike although having the brake cables and electrical running through the bars and stem would make changing out the stem a lot of work. I’m guessing they did not like the look of the adjustable stems and I’m not a fan of the look either, definitely not as clean as what the bikes have now. To me it seems like something they could adjust to down the road and still have that clean look offering different amounts of rise.

Yes,the handle bars look proprietary.Try a set of brahma bars,They attach to your existing bars,
that will allow wrist relief.
