Hi - first post here and the new owner of a Mosh/Cty (love it btw and quick shout out to Steve at E Bike Power Store in St. George UT who was phenomenal).

Anyway, sent a quick note off to Serial 1 to check status on the app release and just got an update noting they are developing an app in concert with Google Cloud.

They wouldn't commit to a release date (or even a projection which was a bit unsatisfying) but their comments track with their recent October press release:

All that said, Brose Display Remote has Bluetooth capability and if you're in Germany, you can actually download a Brose E-Bike app to turn your phone into a trip computer for various e-bikes using the Brose Remote, which is an interesting potential workaround.

Unfortunately, that's not available to download in the US so wondering if any of you have figured out a way to connect to the Brose or even to be able to try to pair BT in ANY way here in the US?

Alternatively, anyone have any suggestions for a good 3rd party app (like Strava, etc.) to be able to capture ride data, if not directly to the Brose?

Cheers,

RobbW

"Currently only available in Germany and Austria.
Other countries will follow" is what's on Brose homepage.
I have iOS and hope the app soon will be available in all countries the Serial1 is sold.

That's why I provided a link. It's only available in the Google Play store if you live in Germany or Austria but you can gain access to the app in ANY country if you download via the apkpure site I posted earlier. But ya, only for Droid, no IOS love right now.

I was away from the forum for a few days but I'm not clear, has anyone actually tried downloading the Brose app as yet from Apk and does it successfully connect to the Mosh's Brose Remote's Bluetooth?

That would be awesome to finally have access to a trip computer on our Android phones while we wait for an "official" app release.

Cheers,

My Rush Speed Pairs easily with my Iphone using the Enviolo App... open the App and press the button on the hub and select the hub from your discovered devices. Done.
However - i wouldn't start tweeking things if your bike is riding ok. Or you may end up causing problems where there weren't any before. If you do decide to play around read this, print this, and follow this order.

DON'T DO ANY OF THIS IF YOUR BIKE RIDES OK!
BUT IF THINGS ARE NOT RIGHT BECAUSE YOU WERE TWEAKING WITH THE APP YOU CAN TRY THIS:

A) When using the Enviolo App, ensure that the Brose controller is turned on but "no power assist selected = off".
B) With your phone - turn your Enviolo App on and via bluetooth pairing make the following selections:

#1 select Automatic
#2 select Sport
#3 set Cadence @ or near 70 rpm
#4 set cadence increment to 5
#5 set Starting assist .7 to 1.0
#6 Perform the calibration with the Brose motor controller power assist level still in "off"
you can pedal the bike in place or ride it until the app says calibration successful.
#7 Turn off the Enviolo App and turn off the Brose controller.

C) Wait a few and then turn the Brose controller on and ride - do not turn the App back on. Using the Enviolo App seems to defeat the purpose of the AuitomatiQ hub; even though you have more choices / selections available in the APP it can create some conflicts with the Brose controller / interface trying to figure out who's the boss.

IF ALL ELSE FAILS - REMEMBER - You can use the Brose Motor Controller / Interface on your handlebar to move through the menu and select FACTORY RESET.
When you do a factory reset the Power Assist should be set to OFF.
After making changes like the Factory Reset, SHUT THE BROSE CONTROLLER OFF AND TURN BACK ON.

GOOD LUCK

Riding along quite happily now! The Serial 1 support / customer service team jumped through all the circus hoops and sent my mechanic the necessary equipment to update / reset the system. The Enviolo AutomatiQ is working happily again.
