Is it possible to upgrade the Mosh with an Enviolo automatiq? Why not buying a Rush? I’m Harley rider since 1998. And I love the frame of the Mosh and his wide tires. It looks like the first Harley.

I saw a little wire from the hub into the Rush frame (see picture). Has the Mosh also this hole?

So are you really going to attempt to do this? If you do, please let us know how it goes. I'm really curious.

I chose a Mosh for several reasons. One of them was the single speed. But now that I have ridden it a while, I can see how higher gears would be useful for an ebike. It is very easy to get up to maximum peddle cadence. A few more higher gears would be good for long hauls.

The Mosh is not yet available in Germany. I live in Belgium myself. But Germany is not so far. And if they are difficult I will have my German family order one. My father is from Germany.

I especially want the Mosh, because of the frame. I don't think the Mosh is too modern and boring like the Rush. The Rush looks like an everyday boring ebike.

You saw that there was a cutout/hole to equip the Mosh with the Enviolo. So that shouldn't be a problem. Why Mosh, Brose and Enviolo?
  • frame, old skool
  • brose, 250 watts & 90Nm
  • Gates belt drive, maintenance free.
  • Enviolo, automatic so you never have to pedal faster than you are used to. And as well as less strain on your bike and as well as greater range with a full battery.

Is enviolo/nuvinci the only geared hub your looking at or are you considering options?

I agree with the it’s the better looking bike that’s why I got one.
Never change a winning team.

HD has with its expertise, tested and perfectly adapted all the components to each other like the Brose motor, Gates belt drive, Schwalbe Super Moto tires (Mosh 2.8 & others 2.4), Tektro disc brakes and of course the Enviolo.

You have even more expensive ones, the Rohloff. But think this geared hub is really overkill, price wise.

Incredibly, on Tuesday Serial1 USA sent out a message on Twitter that E-bikes were being shipped to European dealers in August. So not just only Germany. And on Wednesday, I tried my Harley Davidson concession stand in Antwerp. And they had 1 Mosh XL Black/Black. And on Thursday morning went to pick it up. I thought it was kind of funny. It said Punk/Rock on the box. And my name was on it too, so they really kept it aside.

The quality of the bike is incredible, only thing I'm worried about is the waterproofing of the battery compartment.

Agree water could easily get in the battery compartment and could possibly cause a short. I plan on using Glad Press-n-Seal applying it over top the battery compartment, it’s similar to other cling wraps but one side is sticky allowing for a great seal. Bonus it’s a cheap fix.

同意水很容易進入電池盒並可能導致短路。我計劃使用 Glad Press-n-Seal 將它應用在電池倉頂部,它類似於其他保鮮膜,但一側是粘性的,可以很好地密封。獎金,這是一個便宜的修復。
