How does everyone use their Serial 1 bike? Is it strictly a commuter bike for you? Do you only use it for fun leisure rides? Or is it a mixture of both?

leisure only. If I rode it in town I'd get run-over.

For me it’s both fun and fitness. You can get good exercise. Of course a mid ride brew at a local brewpub is always a bonus or is it an incentive.

Same here. I've rode in town only a couple of times but I don't trust the drivers around me at all.

It's 11.5 miles each way.
Some street and some shared pedestrian/running/dogs/bike trail.
That might be the most challenging section. I reduce speed to match what I normally do on my race bike - or less, since this bike is nearly 40 pounds heavier.
I don't bike commute if the weather is wet.
