• Belt: The Gates™ carbon-fiber belt drive is smooth, quiet, and maintenance-free; it requires none of the frequent lubrication or adjustment of a traditional chain-drive system.
• Hub: The fully enclosed, maintenance-free Enviolo AUTOMATiQ intelligent automatic transmission is an electronically controlled CVT (Constantly Variable Transmission) rear hub that automatically adjusts the gear ratio to maintain the rider’s optimal, personalized pedaling cadence as terrain or speed changes.

Battery System

• Battery: The RUSH/CTY SPEED is equipped with an integrated, 706Wh lithium-ion battery that can be quickly removed from the frame without tools. The battery locks into the the frame for enhanced security.
• Range: The integrated, removable, 706Wh lithium-ion battery delivers a real-world range of 25-115 miles, depending on ride-mode selection, terrain, and how much pedal input the rider supplies.
• Charging: The lithium-ion battery can be charged on-the-bike through a charging port conveniently located on the frame downtube, or easily removed for off-the-bike charging. Charge times are as follows: 0-100% = 6.6hrs; 0-75% = 3.5hrs." Illustrate with a photo of the charger installed in the charge port.

Convenience

• App: A smartphone with the Serial 1 App, when paired by Bluetooth with the Serial 1 eBicycle, can operate as a secondary digital dashboard on both RUSH/CTY models or a primary digital dashboard on the MOSH/CTY model, which is not equipped with a digital display.. More info coming soon
• 4 Modes: Use the LED screen to control 4 boost modes. A 1.5-inch, 240 x 240-pixel TFT display shows selected ride mode, current speed, odometer/trip meter, battery charge level, and headlamp on/off status at a glance.

Fit & Finish

• Sizing: Frame geometry is optimized for each frame size to maintain a comfortable riding position and consistent handling across all rider sizes, regardless of rider height. The desired riding posture for the city bikes is upright to maximize comfort and awareness of the rider’s surroundings. Both the frame geometry and contact points were evaluated, to make sure that our size range is well suited to nearly every customer.

I realize that the first generation “Speed” is a Class 3 bike (top end of 28 mph) and the first generation (Non-Speed) Rush/City is a Class 1 bike (top end of 20 mph), but what are the actual hardware differences between the two models? E.g., are the motors different, are the Enviolo CVTs different, are the batteries different?

I really like this bike but the handlebars are to low for an upright riding position. Is there anyway to raise the handlebars, this leanning forward is a deal breaker because of my badly worn out wrists.
