If the key seems to be difficult to turn when unlocking the battery apply a little bit of downward pressure on the battery they have some foam rubber forcing the battery against the lock to keep it from bouncing around when hitting bumps.

Thanks for this post. I'm struggling to get the battery out however I am putting pressure on the top of the battery. Opposite the indication bar. And I still can't get the key to unlock the battery. Any other suggestions? I'm nervous to snap the key off accidentally.

Hi, you might try more pressure straight down. If that doesn’t help the key turn easily I’d try Serial1 support.

I removed my battery once with no problems, but you have to make sure you push the key all the way in before you turn it, it should be easy to turn so don't apply any muscle to it.

Try using both keys,find the one that works smoother. New keys are sharp and need wearing down to work without catching,work your key on that key slot for a while, wear it in ...
